First, the unknown part picture link: Unkown Part LinkI did not post the image directly to this message because I did not resize it and it is fairly large. I am working on my 91TT Z that isn't starting. I posted a message in the technical forum a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately I still haven't gotten the Z to start. Link to original post: Original Post [ http://twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/1143264/Car-Wont-Start-91TT.html ] Today I was checking that I am getting spark by pulling a couple of coil packs and rotating the CAS to see if I get a spark. I did not see any spark from either coil pack. I checked the ohm reading on both and I got the recommended 0.7 ohms and the longer I held the meter to the coil the high it went up until it hit 1.3 ohms. I also had the fuel fuse near the battery pulled as not to dump fuel into the cylinders. I was hearing clicking noises which I thought at first were the injectors but it seemed localized in only one spot, not around all 6 cyclinders. The clicking noise came from it seems the unknown part near the battery. I have have now done the following: Checked ECU codes: 55 no error Cleaned PTU connectors Diode checked PTU: PTU Values [ http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/forums/technical/view/817092/ptu-values.html ] Replaced fuel filter Replaced fuel regulator Replaced starter relay Checked grounding cables on back pf plenum Checked F23 by ECCS voltage: Read 10.3 Volts Cleaned CAS connector Rotated CAS to check for spark: Test failed, no spark Thank you TT.net for all your help so far.
