He carried them so he could copy them at some point. He asked about my chromer and the chroming operation since they were so good. He asked for my coupler supplier and the sizes. I allowed this to happen because he would put the $ up front to allow me to produce them and he bought them in bulk. After he started making his own, he told customers that wanted them that they didn't fit well, yet he did not provide my detailed write-up of how to easily install them (at least the half dozen people that emailed me said he didn't provide them). The tolerances were made tight on purpose; they are a 15 minute install.
