Message First support your engine, with either an engine hoist, or a jack under the transmission bellhousing and the crank pully.

Then you need to unbolt the lower control arms, the tension rods, the steering knuckle, and the 4 crossmember bolts. Then you need to remove the engine-to-transmission brackets via 4 bolts on each side. One is a two-piece part, and is kind of a pain in the ass. You also need to remove the lower dust shield in between the tranny and engine. The crossmember should come down after you swing everything out of the way, and then you can remove the pan.
