Message	the same thing happened to me when I did my bushings. One way or another, the rack rotates away from the shaft and pulls the u-joint down to where it barely grabs. Just loosen the rack clamp bolts and u-joint and rotate the whole enchilada back "up" and the u-joint will be higher on the shaft. Have fun... Kevin
