Message	The turbo flywheel is designed as noted with a recessed edge to provide proper plate pressure and hold the extra HP of the turbo engine. IMHO it would be best to stick to the OEM design on the flywheel. I've read posts from guys that have resurfaced their flywheels, removing the step, and had to redo the job when they've been unable to get the clutch to operate properly.
