Message	Similar situation in my buddies supercharged R/T he let ping on a 105 degree summer day racing a mustang. He cracked a rod cap, we had to replace it...but it really sounds like you are having a rod knock of some kind......once the bearing tolerances are 'out of whack' a knock can be heard.....severity will most likely get worse. If it starts progressively getting worse time to replace some parts before you have a catastrophic failure (should be done now, if you cant swing it now I would do it asap).
