Hey guyz, I know I'm really coming out of the woodworks here, but I need your suggestions: When I push in the clutch and turn the key to start the car it just makes a very rapid mechanical rat-tat-tat-tat sound like a toy machine gun or something. The dash idiot lights flash at the same rate and time as the sound. The headlights, dash lights, turn signals, and clock work. I haven't driven it in about three weeks and I haven't ever had any problems with the car (has 28K miles on it). The only other thing worth mentioning is that the last couple of times I drove it I noticed the right turn signal blinking twice as fast as normal. So just last night I removed the front right turn signal housing, removed the bulb and cleaned the connections, re-seated the bulb, and put the housing back on. Blinker problem fixed (or so I thought). But I never tried to actually start the car last night and noticed no other problems. Any ideas are very appreciated. I don't work on my own cars very much anymore, but hopefully I can follow any directions you have. Sorry for not doing my research first, but I have an appointment to get it inspected today if possible. In the meantime, I'll be digging in the Search section. Thanks...
