| also, i don't think you can really directly compare the jwt's and the tec's b/c they have different housings. : the 550's were originally designed to be put on the auto Z's. i don't quite remember why, but it has something to do with the efficiency of the housings, etc. give jim a call and he'll explain it much better than anyone here can. (619)442-0680. if you want more than 500 hp, it's better for you to go with the 600's or TEC 1's (or HKS GT2530's if you can swing it).
: : Since i'm doing the turbos, i thought i might do the ported exhaust manifolds. They claim an increas from 171 to 211 cfm. Any opinons on this? I want to keep lag as low as possible. Thanks a lot--Joe : porting the exhaust manifolds and/or doing headwork is really effective when you use the big turbos... sport 600's or tec stg. 2's. on the smaller turbos (500's and stg 1's), it'll help somewhat, but it won't be as pronounced as on the big ones. : The Phoenix cometh...
