Not much money but I am have been plagued by this problem so long. : Okay, here is my problem, I have hesitation up to about 2700 rpms. I also have a rough idle that seems to get worse when the A/C is on. I just had a new alternator put in and the belt squeaks a lot on startup (I am definitely having this adjusted this week though). The alternator checked out okay, even in its 'loose' state. After the car gets to about 3000 rpms it takes off again and no problems. It is very sluggish up to 2500 rpms and almost sounds like it is missing or something. The car is a 1990 NA with 133K. : Here is what I have done or replaced: : *Replaced Fuel filter : *Replaced Air filters : *Replaced Coolant temp sensor : *Cleaned all the connections in recommended : *Re-crimped the CAS connection : * Cleaned the throttle bodies : *replaced alternator : *new spark plugs : I have run injector cleaner through it a long time ago but it was high quality ($10 castrol synthetic or equivalent). I promise to pay if fixed :-) a rough/unstable idle is one of the first signs of a bad EGR. also, the hesistation points towards the EGR or a bad oxygen sensor. if you haven't yet, run an ECU diagnostic! (very easy..if you don't know how, look in the TECH section for instructions..takes 15 minutes of your time)
