| I wanted to create a procedure for this for other Z32 peeps in case they are wondering just how to accomplish this. In my case (1990 TT) I have the plenum and battery removed. I also removed the brake master cylinder as it was original and looked scary. Tools: -Medium long 12in ish regular screwdriver -Hammer (A good solid one not a dinky one) -22mm deep socket -Sidecutters/knippers -long extension -1/2 or 3/8 swivel for driver side -ratchet (or electric impact in my case (for REMOVAL ONLY) -22mm flexible head oxygen sensor wrench (amazon) for tightening once the new ones are in! Parts: - x2 replacement Sensor to precat nut (oem nissan #20607-P6500) in case you need one or two. - x2 sensors Bosch (OEM) # 13091 These are readily available online and are the same as OEM. They will come with caps protecting them and new sealant on the threads already too! 1. Cut the oxygen sensor wires completely down to the sensor. This will allow you to get the socket on solidly from above.
2. Smash the top of the sensor off with your screwdriver using the hammer. It will snap off eventually and make a mess 3. Use the socket and break the sensor free (22mm) Sometimes the BUNG comes off with it. If it does, install the new nut bung and then the sensor. 4. Install the new bung, or reuse the stock one if able to. 5. Tighten the 02 first by hand into the nut on the precat 6. Use the flex head 22mm o2 sensor wrench for the final snug/tightening The patient on the left ... 90 TT (automatic trans basically all stock)
RH side o2 sensor after a smashing
The nut came out with the sensor on the RH side.. so I replaced with a new one. For the RH side you will use a 22mm deep socket and extension only no swivel needed here.
Here's how the RH one came off. . .
 RH done

1/2 flex and extension for the LH side
Ryobi impact to break it loose.
LH stock nut stayed in the precat.. so I reused this one.
