Message Yeah, i know 140 is not technically 'good' but the thing has 280k on it. Can't really fault it for being a bit worn. It doesn't leak a drop of oil or coolant, doesn't burn oil, doesn't tick or knock, and makes great oil pressure. It's not a single cylinder issue, there aren't any misfires. Engine harness is brand new from Z1, Plugs are brand new NGK PFR6G-11, all coils test good on an ohm test, and i have a Phase II lower and upper intake manifold set with new late model flow matched injectors from clean injection. I've never done the FSM test because i believe it to be a setup issue, not a parts issue. I have three MAFs. One OEM nissan one, one delphi from the parts house, and one that's an OEM MAF inside an MRP aluminum housing. All produce the same slight stumbling, in varying driving conditions. The OEM one stumbles at part throttle, and the other ones put the car down on power at WOT, with black smoke out the tailpipe. Honestly considering ordering a standalone so i can throw the maf ideology out. In theory it works well but in practice even the slightest adjustment throws it off. I can literally unscrew the MAF clamp, rotate it 45deg, and itll change how the car runs.
