Hi everyone, the starter in my 90 NA grinds very intermittently…like, sometimes goes weeks or months (it’s a daily driver). I’ve replaced 3 starters, the main battery cable (new one from Z1), the starter relay, and cleaned the small wire that goes to the starter and the connector, and reconnected the starter multiple times. Eventually it always starts after a couple tries, but it’s annoying, I’m sure I’m grinding the teeth on the starter and the clutch, and it’s also mildly embarrassing.
I’m thinking electrical connection somewhere is intermittent, but what am I missing?
