Message	for combustion in coolant. When I put a new thermo in I always do the stove top check with thermo suspended in a in a pot of water and check temps with temp gun or oven thermometer for when thermo starts to open and full open and compare to specs. For checking for combustion gas in coolant that is a shop test unless you have the equipment to DIY?. ZUL8TR
