Message Pop quiz, Hotshot. You have these two things in front of you. What do you do? What do you do?

These clips are one of the bane's of Z32 ownership. They're equally as difficult to put on as they are to remove - for me anyway. You have to be careful to not break the connector, or send the clip flying.

I created this little shim out of thick cardboard that came as packing material for a piece of furniture. It slips right into the connector and blocks the side ports from the clip.

Ah, success.

I've seen other variations with pliers being wedged inside, but it was awkward, and I was still worried about breaking the connector.

Please share your tips on how you finesse these clips. I'm sure everyone has developed their own techniques. This cardboard piece will work for me since I don't need to do this often, but a 3D printed piece would be more durable.

Hope this helps someone in the future.
