Message	That also reminds me of a Z I worked on long ago that refused to run decently unless the ignition timing was set to the highest end of the allowable range, 13deg BTDC...which I thought was strange. Had you tried moving the ignition timing around in the specified range and not just set to 15deg BTDC?
