Message Definitely a head scratcher especially over the Internet. Fuel pressure ok?

I’m still thinking it might be lifters and possibly on the intake side. Can’t see how the sprocket would cause this bad of a power loss. If you temp shot up it could be a lean condition. Also, check the alignment pin in the cams that make sure the sprocket is in the right position. The engine I rebuilt had a broken one that forced me to buy a replacement cam.

Last question before I’m out of ideas, have you done a compression test and leak down test?
