Message	avoid needing the clips. But even with that better connector some locations were still a challenge to access. If you grind off the plastic orientation pin on the FICD connector body, OEM connector can be reoriented as needed. FICD is not polarity (voltage) sensitive. FYI - I spliced a male/female crimp connector onto one of the wire leads for that connector. Made it extremely easy to disconnect the FICD from the cars system without having to remove the whole connector plug.
