Subject	Shifter Holder Bracket????

Message	I was shifting my '92 ZX when it felt like something gave a little and the shifter dropped down. I am still able to drive but very strange. Does it sound like the shifter holder bracket broke and if so is it something that an average guy can replace. Any advice is appreciated. Just get another OEM one or is there a better option?
