Subject	need some advise with code 34, please

Message	im chasing this issue and just need someone to tell me if this is right. I have 4 volts going to the sensor with the car running. 584 ohms from ecu to ground with the car off and I have checked the white wire going from the sensor plug to the ecu, with everything unplugged and I have continuity. sensor bench test I tested the body of sensor to the pins, both of them just to check and I get no continuity or any resistance. shouldn't I get something thru the sensor? it would seem that if the resistor bypass would need resistance I should see it thru the sensors lead to the body, is that right? is the voltage correct? I think the 584ohms is right and that should tell me the ecu is good, right? I kinda think its the sensor but I need an experts advice. please, someone help me with these answers. there is a lot of info on the knock sensor but I cant find anything on the voltage, or anything concrete on testing the sensor out of the car. thanks 1
