Message That’s a really good point. I do wonder about the spots where some clearcoat came off. Of course, it’ll be under the replacement piece, but still, I don’t want to invite future corrosion issues.

I still need to clean up the dirt/wax(?) residue that follows the outline of the original spoiler. That looks stubborn. Also a little rust, but I’m trying out this Bullfrog stuff - I have an uncle who owns a clock repair/restoration shop in Houston who uses it on a daily basis and swears by it.
