Message	early model switches with the defrost button have the same mirror harness connector between NA and TT. Once the mirror defrost was integrated into the rear hatch defrost switch the NA switch connector changed and to use it in an older car you'd have the de-pin the wires and use the different shaped harness plug that corresponds with that switch. I would check your 10A fuse number 4, I believe.
