Message	1. The chip doesn't ignore the detonation sensor. 2. The only way the sensor can be bypassed is if someone connected a resistor where the sensor would normally be plugged in, but then you shouldn't get a code 34. 3. If the car is equipped with a boost controller, then there is no way for the car to go into safety boost as the stock boost cut solenoids would be bypassed.
