Message	Its connected at the bottom where the bushings are, but it slides freely up and down through the silver mounting hardware that is bolted to the fork. That isnt supposed to happen is it?? I am able to move the shifter at least a few inches up and down (it hits the drive shaft) I'm sorry i dont know what bolt you are talking about.
