Message With the trans off the pre cats are easier to remove and repair the studs.

Those are the studs for the precats you linked to.

They 96 flywheels are the same as the other years. I dont know why they have a different part number. I ran a OE new TT flywheel in my 96 NA, only problem with that is the crank sensor throws a code b/c the speed of the teeth passing the sensor is calibrated differently for 96 NA vs 96 TT due to the difference in diameters.

The only difference when removing the trans for a 96 is to remove the fly wheel sensor on the side of the bell housing, everything else is the same across all years.
