Message	Purpose? The restrictor is not found in the oem hose used with the Euro spec oil cooler, which is larger. Nothing else about the oil cooler system between the US/JDM and the Euro spec is different besides the hoses to and from the cooler and the cooler itself. My assumption is the restrictor is in place on the US/JDM cars to help keep the oil in the cooler longer as the cooler assembly is smaller.
