Subject	Stock oil cooler question

Message	Been trying to set my car back up right since I got it. It was a half ass tt swap. Anyway it doesn't have an oil cooler on it at the moment, just a short rubber line bypassing the whole oil cooling system. I now have a parts car I can rob parts from so I have a cooler & lines. Question is can I just run rubber lines from the inlet & outlet to the cooler or do I have to use the factory lines? I read that it had a reducer or something in the factory hard line but also read it was hard to get them on & off.
