Message connect some plenum harnesss ground straps after upper plenum removal. But that would not be an intermittent issue - once fried it doesn't work.

Your situation would seems to be warm up related - have you tested the coolant temperature sensor? All kinds of strange things can happen when it's bad but never ran across it doing what you describe.

Try this just for fun - remove the gas cap and let the car warm up? Wondering if there might be a gas tank venting issue? Had that issue once on another non-Z car and it took a while to figure out.

Just from my general experience with various family cars - a code may be showing for some other issue altogether. Had a Mazda showing bad O2 issues and turned out to be a small vacuum leak.

BTW - once figured out please post back, helps others in the future. Just start a new thread if this one is locked and reference it.
