Message	sensors needed to arm the system - Hood switch Door Jam switches Deck lid switch Door lock actuator switches Door key lock switches Door key lock tamper switches If the interior light isn't going out completely, I'd check the door jam switches first, perhaps they aren't working right. That will definitely keep your alarm from setting because it thinks a door is still open. I don't know if the switch has continuity when it's pressed or released. Remove the cover and one fastener holds it in. Pull it out and unplug the connector. See if the light goes out completely then. If it doesn't dim at all, then rig a wire between the two connectors on the plug and see if it goes out then. It could be the one on the other side too, but I would think the drivers side would wear faster due to use.
