| Hi All, Did some searching but couldn't find an answer on this. Here is the issue I am having. - Starting from a stop, I accelerate hard through first, shift into 2nd and begin to hear a loud howl/trumpet (goosehonk?) noise and boost maxes out at 5psi. Then I shift into 3rd and I hit full boost at 10psi (aftermarket boost gauge), 4th is full boost as well. - If I don't come to a stop, but just slowly drive in 2nd, then accelerate hard I can sometimes hit full 10psi in 2nd gear. Does this sound like an issue with recircs not closing again after the shift from 1st to 2nd? Or is it wastegates stuck open in 2nd? Could it be only one of the Recircs stuck open which is allowing me to boost at 5psi (instead of 0psi which is what you would expect if both recircs were stuck open)? Boost leak test shows no leaks. Definitely feels like there is some sort of "blow by" happening almost like a boost leak, but the howling makes me thing that it's something else stuck open.
