This is the little fan near the map lights. I had a previous one start to squeal like a pig, so I hunted down a "good" used one. Alas, after trying 3 (they all either squealed, buzzed, or didn't work at all) I found one that seemed to be quiet and spin freely. Over the past few days, I've noticed it too is starting to have a crackle to it, like an electrical interference. I've also noticed the Z seems to ride rougher when this is occurring. Where should I begin looking for this electrical (?) fault? Is there a short somewhere in this line, which is ultimately affecting the car?
