Message	a 1/2 inch by 8 inch piece of aluminum strapping and JB Weld it to the ends of the unbroken lip? Not sure I'd actually spend much time on it - the oil pump is fine. FYI - Changing the oil pump is not a simple undertaking --- the oil pan can't be dropped without either hoisting the engine or dropping the front subframe.
