Subject	Climate control goes dead above 3k rpm

Message	Hi gang, Been living without AC for a few years and just got it retrofit last week. For a few days, all was good, but today the climate control went dead. Started up again after I restarted the car during the course of errands. Then dropped out again. Climate control display is blank when this happens, and does not respond to button presses like "Auto" or "econ". After driving around, I discovered that climate control works below 2k rpm, and the system goes dead between 2k and 3k rpm. Bizarre! Any ideas of what I might check? I will probably take it back to the dealer next weekend, but would love to handle it with a little garage time if I can. - John - John (Comcast discontinued home pages, where my stuff was hosted...)
