I was able to delete it all with just the plenum off. The worst part was undoing the nut that secures the pipe going into the driver side exhaust manifold. Couldn't do it with a line wrench because it was too short to have enough leverage. Regular open end didn't work either because of no room. I sawed off the pipe and finally got it with a socket. It is possible but I don't recommend it, such a pita. Unless your valve is causing you problems or you have the system leaking, I wouldn't touch it until you have to pull the engine.
