Message They can see if there is any glycol content (i.e. antifreeze) in the oil which would tell you if you have a head gasket issue.

If there are no external leaks, consider dumping your oil and seeing how much comes out if you are that worried. If 2.5 gallons of coolant ended up inside your engine, it would be toast very quickly as bearings aren't getting much lubrication and likely your engine would have seized up.

2.5 gallons is with a stock radiator. If you have an aftermarket radiator, it would be higher.

It's impossible to determine if the head gasket will just start to leak or blow, or if it will leak internally or externally. Obviously, an external leak will show with spots on the floor if it leaks out the sides, or pooling in the valley of the V. You'd have to look carefully around they head and block interface to see if it is an external leak.

And you can't tell if it is leaking internally, without a UOA. It could leak between the coolant passage and oil feed/drain passage. Or it could leak between the coolant passage and cylinder (you'd likely see some white smoke out the tail pipe).
