Subject	Cam or main seal popped out?

Message	So I was burping my radiator after doing my first 120k service on my 96 TT. Everything was going good, no leaks or anything for about 20 mins of running when I went back under to put my engine shield back on and on the ground is a puddle of oil about the width of a volleyball. I had just checked underneath about 5-7 mins before discovering the puddle and there was nothing. And there was only the slightest drip when I found it so it must have released all at once. I have yet to dig back into the car but I'm thinking the main cam seal popped out? Anyone know what could cause that? I really made sure that f***er was in there but I was also careful to not push too hard. At least I thought. Think I diagnosed this correctly? And if so is there anything that could cause the seal to pop out other than me just not installing it correctly?
