Hey guys, Bit of a newbie here looking to get into a 300ZX. I've searched the forums, read the techs pages, FAQs, etc - but still have one question. I've noticed a fair amount of higher horsepower 2+2 builds. I understand the 2+2 has a bit longer wheelbase (96.5 vs 101.2) and tips the scales a little under it's TT counterpart (3474 vs 3313)... however, that last point may just be because of the lack of turbos, intercoolers, etc. However, are there any other advantages? It seems like you are giving up a bit of handling on the longer wheelbase, but what are you gaining? Is balance any better on the 2+2? Does the 2+2 house larger rear tires? Or is it just a numbers game, meaning, 2+2s are just plain 'ol cheaper and the money saved on the chassis can go into the motor instead? Thanks for any and all insight!
