I'm going to be going with a dual pump set up. It looks like the OEM run off the FPC Unit with a secondary running off a Hobbs switch is the best budget minded option. Running the second pump off a standalone ECU is obviously an option as well (I don't have Haltech in this Z). I have a spare OEM pump on hand. A few questions: 1. Anyone know if two Stockers will fit on the hanger and down the hole? 2. It looks like the rubber insulator adds a fair amount to the diameter of the pump. Are these necessary? Most photos I see of the dual walbro setups are w/o rubber insulators. 3. My understanding is that the hobbs switch is boost activated. So I presume it'd have to go in the engine bay with a vacuum line to it which would mean running a signal wire back to a relay near the pump. Anyone know of any write ups for hobbs switch install on a Z32? I haven't come across any on the forums.
