Message	On page EM-63 of the FSM, it states the ID of the big end of a connecting rod is 2.0866 to 2.0871". Posters on this site have said there are only 2 grades of rods, 0 and 1. So, does the FMS dimension refer to a grade 0 or a grade 1? What is the size of the OTHER grade? I am considering getting my rods reconditioned and would like to know my tolerances. I don't currently have a bore gauge so I'm not sure if it's even needed, but it's usually a common practice with domestic engines. I'm also thinking about removing the forging seam and getting rods tumbled to polish them. I saw the MotoIQ articles on block and internals prep and have set my standards kind of high. Rods and pistons are not from block so balancing is a must. May also deseam and tumble crank and girdle. ????
