Just redid timing belt with Nissan oem tensioner and all new bearings The bearings are gmb and koyo on new Nissan tensioner. Belt is gates from concept z. Tensioner was slightly less than .4mm so all seemed good. Car runs well, also ported water pump housing but that is a different story. I cut an access window on the top idler to monitor the belt. Does this look normal to you all? Belt sure rides close to backing plate. Also paint is slightly cracked now and the pulley is hot to touch after car as been running. I don't go around touching timing belt pulleys so I have nothing to compare to but she gets pretty hot! Is this normal? Thanks for your time!
