Message	Does the plate in your spares look like this? https://www.z1motorsports.com/transmission-driveline/ramey/starter-shim-plate-p-2945.html If not, sometimes the bendix is sticky after sitting for years on the shelf, full of clutch dust. Spray it out with cleaner and give it a try.
