due to the revised pressure plate and I prefer it for street duty. I completely disagree that the old one was more daily friendly. I can slip the new enough to get the car moving nicely from a start. The old one was very heavy on the foot because of the fulcrum point on the pressure plate. Have you adjusted the new one properly by moving the clutch switches up per SZ recommendation? If you're going to be abusing the clutch, drag racing, etc, the Hi-5 is the way to go. It does chatter a bit though, but not nearly as bad as other puck clutches and is livable. I too have had experience with the old and new Max Street, and the Hi-5.
