Message The only way to remove it is to drill and tap then use a slide hammer to remove (obviously the engine would need to be out of the car to do this).

Also, it cannot be driven in farther, it is in a blind hole with only a small pocket exposed to the water jacket.

Small coolant leaks like this can typically sealed with Bar's Leaks added to the coolant, but personally I would just clean the plug with brake cleaner, let it dry, wipe some silicone into the pocket, let that dry, and it should stop the weeping.
