The sensor spades as well as the catcheruppers in the connector were quite corroded. The boot disintegrated in my hands when I unplugged the connector. Checked the resitance vs temp of the sensor and observed it to be within specs. Reluctant to clean it when it was only $8, so I ordered one and an aftermarket connector (in pigtail form) as well. No boot though. I will have to wait till I install my new harness on the day a remove the motor. Maybe that pesky, rock hardened by now, water hose in the back against the firewall will be the reason for the not so in the future engine pull...
