all that common. Or the resistor pack that controls the blower speeds has failed. I've had this fail on other cars but not my Z. This picture shows the resistor pack location. [ http://s161.photobucket.com/albums/t235/kyleatwell/300ZX/?action=view ]¤t=BlowermotorResized.jpg It's the sliver trapezoid shaped thing mounted on the front side of the AC condenser box. Air flow cools the pack that's why it's mounted there. You can check resistance with a meter and verify all terminals show values when tested. Set your meter on its lowest setting, the resistance readings are usually pretty low, like 0.5 ohms, 1 ohm, etc. If no readings the pack is shot. If needed, you can meter test the blower motor too or just apply 12v directly to the motor's connector and verify it blows.
