Subject	intake cam leak?? pls help

Message	So my alternator was getting soaking wet in oil, took the timing covers off and timing belt(new timing belt) and notice the covers were wet in the inside, so im guessing maybe camshaft seals? or intake cam gear($$) I can't tell if the seals or the gears are leaking because of the amount of oil residue all over the timing belt area. Can anyone please throw me a bone and tell me how do i know if I have a bad intake cam gear? PLSSS
