Message That is one of the positive sides of a VLSD compared to others, or so I've read. It should fail with no drama, other than it not having limited slip properties any longer. I'm pretty sure my 200k unit was pretty much toast and whined quite a bit, but never felt any weird jolts or slipping. I always kept fresh Redline fluid in it, so not sure if that is a factor.
