in there. If you change it ONLY use a SINGLE designation GL4 not a multiple GL3, GL4, GL5 designation list on some gear lube bottles because that is a backward compatible list ONLY applicable for Differentials not Synchro Transmissions (info I obtained from oil manufacturer chemistry department).
In 1995 I had 5 speed tranny issues due to dealer incorrect fluid replace service. The tranny was OK till the fluid change caused issues. They screwed up because they used a multiple designation lube that I proved incorrect with info from oil manufacturer. That fluid caused synchros to corrode and resulting difficult shifting. They gave me a warranty replacement tranny and install. The Tranny came from Nissan Japan with GL4 fluid sealed in there that I left in there for several years then changed to a GL4 synthetic 75W-90.
