Subject	Need advice...Car has a viper alarm and the ignition

Message	switch is going bad. I took off the steering shell but I can't find the connector end of the ignition switch. It looks like they may have removed the connector when they installed the alarm. Is that a normal thing to do or am I not seeing the connector. Looking at the picture on Concept Z and the length of the wiring from the switch to the connector I can't imagine that it is so far away that I can't see it. Also if it is now missing the connector is my best bet to splice the new switch before the alarm connections. Should, could and how much to have the alarm removed? So damn irritated.
