Message 96 NA stock.

I've noticed that during idle after the initial 30 seconds of high pressure on the NA at start up the FPCU will cycle the fuel pump to high for a second or two and then drop it back down to low.

During cruising I can hear the pump flip onto high soon as I press on the accelerator and switch back to low when let off. Sometime it does some times it doesn't.

I can audibly hear the pump buzzing, I replaced it with a new OE TT pump and while a lot quieter its rather noticeable on high.

I've put in a new OEM fuel pressure regulator to address a different issue. I also checked my FPCU soldering for anything spotty and found the grounds were a touch spotty so I reflowed the solder and continuity is steady - that cut back on the noise too oddly.

I am trying to figure out why my FPCU would be cycling my pump between high and low during idle and why during cruising is it on high?
