| it's the hardware. You just use the software to program it. (OK yes there is software running in the ECU kinda) Nissan Data Voice will let you modify parameters within the scope of the stock ECU, but you can't use it to add anything. The closest anyone's gotten to adding to the stock ECU is Nistune hijacking the mode switch pot to use it as an ethanol content sensor input.
I don't think the wheelspeed sensors even connect to the ECU.
